• Registration Open & New Location - Feb 18, 2009

I am pleased to announce that we will be opening registration today for our Spring League. The entry fee will be $550 per team which will be due by March 16th. There will be a roster limit of 14 players per team. As you can see there are some changes for this year the biggest is that we have changed our location from the Cecil Arena to Outdoor Adventures in Chesapeake City, MD. The field is just minutes from the town of Chesapeake City and easy to access. Some benefits of this change include better equipment, a bigger field, and a better budget. Games will be played on Saturday mornings just like in the Fall and we will be switching to a 9 v 9 format which provides more options for both offensive production and defensive pressure. We felt that with the larger playing field adding an extra man would be perfect for our league.

We will be holding a Captains meeting in the near future to sit down and finalize some rule changes. For example we are looking to eliminate the fumble rule & bad snaps which would simply result in a deadball/loss of down. First week of play will begin on Saturday, March 21st. • Spring League News! - January 31, 2009

I am finalizing information for the 2009 Spring League to be help outside of the Cecil Arena again this season. I'm hoping for the league to start around the second or third week of March but I still have to finalize everything with the Parks & Recreation. We are excited for some of the changes to come this season stay tuned. I can say we are working on some rule changes for this season, as well as just a flat team price instead of paying per person, however teams will be responsible for their own uniforms this year. • Playoff Videos - December 16, 2008

First off I wanted to thank everyone for playing this year. It has been an exciting year and we couldn't of done it without all the players and managers that made this happen. I especially want to thank everyone for baring through the first year. It was a learning year and we will continue to work to build the best league in the state. I am taking suggestions for next seasons rules, changes, and just suggestions all together so feel free to e-mail me your ideas to cecilflagfootball@gmail.com

The results are in from the 2008 Playoff Tournament. The games wen' t smooth and we didn't have any major problems except for the cold. We want to say congrats to all the teams that placed in the tournament. I hope to see you all in the Spring.

I have updated the scores, and standings from previous weeks. Also for Week 6 which will be played Saturday November 29th we will be playing indoor. All games will be indoor so be sure to wear sneakers. We are going to attempt to play regular 8 on 8 rules inside unless captains rather play the 7 on 7 format we played in previous weeks indoor. After a lot of down time I finally got the website back online. I apologize for the inconvenience it has caused everyone. Also all the pages have been updated. So check out the standings, web galleries , and more!

We have updated the team list with the latest sign ups. We have about 6 Free Agents signed up who are interested in playing so there should be another 2-3 teams by this weekend. Also I've added a forum for each team. We are still taking sign ups for teams!

Due to a lack of completed registrations in time we are extending the registration deadline and start date. Please register your team if interested by contacting Cindy Cantor using the information in the news post blow as soon as possible. We would like to get the season start sooner, than later. Also for now you can turn in all your registration forms and register your team and payment is not due until we're ready to start playing games. So register now!

You can now register either as a team or individual by contacting Cindy Cantor at 410-392-4537 or email at ccantor@ccgov.org. The Price will be $50 per player and a $25 uniform fee. Registration will close around the third week of September so please get registered as soon as possible! Remember you don't have to provide a whole team if you just have a couple players or you are an individual we will put you on a team. Looking to get in touch with CFFL Staff, Team Members, Teams recruiting players? Maybe you just want to discuss the league, upcoming events, or setup a scrimmage? If so check out our forums as they are now online. Each team will get their own forum for general team discuss or communicate with their friends and fans.

We are now looking for both players and managers for the 2008 League. All managers will be responsible for recruiting their team, managing their roster, team finances, practices, games, league board and all other team responsibilities. Keep in mind that managers can be active players as well. Entry Fee to the league is to be determined and will cover team uniforms as well as help cover league expenses. Cecil Flag Football League (CFFL) is a new Flag Football league for Cecil County and surrounding areas. Our mission is to create the counties first competitive adult flag football league. We will be running a 8 v 8 Contact Format based off of a modified version of the USFFL rule book. We will start with somewhere between 6-12 teams depending on the demand. Teams will Roster up to 12 players and 1 Manager or an active player can manage the team. Each team will receive Custom Jerseys and Shorts. Entry fee will be determined soon which helps cover uniform & league expenses.
